What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
